World Read Aloud Day this year was on March 4, 2015, but like many authors, the Nerdy Chicks have been celebrating by connecting with classrooms all week long. We read to kids in Ohio, Wisconsin, South Carolina, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Texas, California, and many, many more! Nerdy Chicks Rule 
It was the perfect week for my husband and me to be welcomed as the Royal Readers in our first grade granddaughter’s classroom, complete with our own crown, scepter, and bowing subjects to greet us. Scheduled more than 5 months ago it not only happened to be World Read Aloud “Week” but there was an explosion of Dr. Seuss’s birthday excitement today, too.
I swear I miss all of this stuff! LOL
